Vintage German Porcelain Tactical Command Lidded Military Beer Stein

Vintage German porcelain beer stein featuring a Tactical Command military insignia in bold blue and orange, gold lettering, and decorative gold trim. The white porcelain tankard is finished with an ornate pewter-style hinged lid with raised detailing and decorative thumb lift, plus an elegantly curved porcelain handle. The design includes references to the 516th Signal Company, Camp Rucker, Salzburg, and Austria. The underside is marked “Camera & Souvenir Shop Munich Germany” with additional identification numbers. Family provenance traces this stein to the early 1950s, when it was brought back from Austria by the seller’s grandfather during his Korean War-era military service. The interior bottom of the tankard has visible cracking. It is likely no longer watertight and should be considered a decorative collectible rather than a functional drinking vessel. A distinctive piece of mid-century German souvenir craftsmanship and military memorabilia for a stein, militaria, or European decor collection.
